It took me a while to begin this piece - and it's taken a while for things to calm down enough, for my soul rested and at peace enough to attempt this commission.
A number of rough sketches made, this composition is borne from imagination and the mind of watercolour - as you know, watercolour has a mind of its own. This piece is inspired by the Lotus of Whistler, BC - theres only one, shes fierce and beautiful and the locals know who she is.
