These girls were so precious - their interaction, their natural ease with each other, the way they seemed to glow from within. Moments like this remind me why I'm drawn to painting people, especially children. They carry this unguarded authenticity that's both humbling and inspiring.
Datong has been full of these unexpected gifts - not just the ancient architecture and historic alleyways, but the people who bring these streets to life. Watching these two together, I was struck by how universal joy really is. Their giggles and whispered secrets needed no translation. I even enjoyed reading the body language of their pups - also universal. š
