Into the Light

$700.00

Unframed Watercolour, 2025

My 2024 year has flipped itself on its head. I’ve recently left a corporate job, a company and a career of 16 years and made that move with significant friction. In the wake of the chaos and pain, I’m grateful for the profound healing fostered in the close-knit community I’m blessed to have.

As my husband and I pursued a clean break from the company we served, we were positioned and postured to make multiple moves in faith as we loosed chains of dependence on what we had previously placed our trust in. While there were many good and blessed things I could say about my time in the corporate landscape, there were many evils that I was exposed to and many stressors that demanded my time and energy away from what was really important.

“Into the Light” is more of a sketch that explores and fleshes out how I feel about what I left and what I’m entering into.
