Festering
Some things don't stay neutral. Left unattended, they spread – quietly at first, then with a stubborn life of their own. Festering is about what happens when what is small is tolerated, when what is unresolved is left to sit, when decay is given time.
There is also a mercy in naming it. Not to dramatise it, but to face it. Because healing often begins with honesty, and freedom often begins where denial ends. What is brought into the light can be dealt with. What is hidden tends to grow.
