This is one of my favourite reminders of old Squamish: before it was polished, before it was curated and before it was cool. A place where the walls held parties, punk shows, shenanigans, childhood memories, neighbours, besties, and the kind of living that leaves a mark.
For me, looking at this piece small way of keeping that local story honoured – a celebration of Squamish pride, and a nod to the people who were here when it was still a dead-end street and a small town nobody heard of.
