A little tighter and slower than my usual process. There’s something about approaching more sombre topics that give me the sobriety to quieten and take more care and consideration. They require much more thought. The title points out to some introspective and abstracted wrestlings in my soul which I guess can leave some space for the viewer to wonder what I might be thinking.
I enjoyed painting this piece. I like the elements of realism contrasted with looser and more suggested parts.
