Not Forgotten

Not Forgotten is a series of watercolour portraits honouring people groups whose ways of life are changing rapidly, and in some places, disappearing. Modernisation can bring real benefits, but it can also thin what has been carried for generations – language, craft, dress, and the everyday rhythms that quietly hold a community together.

These works are not intended to romanticise hardship or treat anyone as a symbol. They are a practice of attention. A way of saying that a human life is not made small by remoteness, poverty, or obscurity.
